What You’ve Always Wanted to Ask A Teacher…

Since I was a little girl, I have always enjoyed Reader’s Digest. My grandmother subscribed to it as did my mother. I found the articles interesting and informative and the jokes sections were my favorite. As an adult, I have continued the tradition and I look forward to reading every issue. There is a price to pay for this, though. My sister will often tease me because of my magazine choice. She said she could think of so many other magazines that she would rather read. That’s OK, I can stand the good-natured teasing.

In recent months, the Reader’s Digest has had a regular feature and it is called something like, “Everything a __________ would tell you about (their job)” and they fill in the blank with an occupation of some sort. The articles address many things that only someone with the experience in that specific field would be able to address.

As a classroom teacher, I have had multiple years of experience in a large grade range. I’d like to know what you, as a reader of an education-focused blog, would like to know about and/or have addressed. These things may concern the “smallest” curiosities to the largest concerns. I’d like to use my blog to discuss areas of education that are relevant to you, as parents, grandparents or concerned citizens. So….now’s your opportunity to ask a teacher the things you’ve always wanted to but haven’t!
